Dr. Shamsia Shafi, with over eighteen years of experience in all aspects of general dentistry, is dedicated to the patient experience. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of the Arts in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina in 1997, She furthered her studies there to earn her Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) in 2002. Currently a licensed dentist in Florida and North Carolina; for the past eighteen years, Dr. Shafi has provided comprehensive dental care for communities in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Gulf Coast of Florida.
Dr. Shafi is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the West Coast Dental Association. The principles, which guide Dr. Shafi’s work, are built on foundation of respect and trust. Her goal is to provide comprehensive and high-quality customized care utilizing optimal materials in a gentle, friendly, relaxed, and supportive environment. At the very heart, she possesses a fundamental love of her career and a genuine caring for people. As her patients will attest, she is a very kind and compassionate dentist. Dr. Shafi is a native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Along with her passion for dentistry, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
